EMTRAC Rail-Maintenance Notification Vest
As the number of rail lines through metro areas increases, so does the potential for pedestrian accidents—and wayside rail-maintenance workers are often in the most vulnerable locations for these types of accidents.
By utilizing precise positioning and secure RF communication, the EMTRAC Notification Vest alerts transit and traffic workers when an approaching train is within a specified distance. When an approaching train reaches the specified distance, the EMTRAC Notification Unit on the vest vibrates, sounds an audible alarm, and flashes an LED to alert the worker.
